Talk to our AI receptionist
The same AI receptionist that answers our own line. Ask what Hey Quad does, ask for a quote, or try to stump it.
About a minute is plenty. Your browser will ask for your microphone; it's used only for this call. You're talking to an AI, for up to 5 minutes. The audio isn't recorded; the transcript is kept to improve the demo.

The problem
The phone is still your front door.
When nobody answers, callers don’t wait. They call the next business on the list.
Voicemail covers 128 of your 168 hours a week.
Your week, hour by hour
Every one of those missed calls is business handed to whoever did answer.
Quick math — what’s one new customer worth to you?
$26,000a year
…if voicemail eats just one of those calls a week — and you just watched how fast that happens.
One system
One system. Three jobs.
Most small businesses run their phones, an answering service and a customer inbox as three products with three bills. Hey Quad is one, with one login and one quote.
A phone system you never have to administer.
- Keep your number. We file the port and schedule the cutover.
- Desk phones arrive set up, and the browser and Windows apps ring too.
- Ring order, hours, queues and transfers, built for you and yours to change.

A receptionist that knows your business.
- Answers from your own hours, services and FAQs, in a voice you pick.
- Books, takes messages and texts back, day and night.
- Hands the call to a person with a briefing when it should, by rules you set.

Every conversation in one place.
- Calls, texts, voicemail and email in one shared inbox your team works together.
- Every contact’s history on one timeline, written as the calls happen.
- Tasks, reminders and a booking page so nothing waits on someone’s memory.

Why switch
Built in, not bolted on.
Big-brand plans often start with a phone line and sell the rest separately. We quote the whole system on one page, and that page is what you pay.
Your bill matches your quote.
Phone taxes and 911 fees change by state, county and city, so a headline price is only true before tax. We send a written quote for your address instead, with each charge on a line of its own.
- Every tax and fee for your address, itemized
- In writing within one business day, good for 30 days
- Accept it online when you’re ready

Founder-led
Hi, I’m David. I pick up.
I’ve spent the last decade engineering contact centers for Fortune 500 companies — the platforms behind some of the busiest phone lines in the country. Hey Quad is that same engineering, sized for the businesses that answer their own phones.
So when you book time, you get me — not a sales rep reading a script. And when you have a question after you’re live, you still get me. Not a ticket queue.

Straight answers
Questions we hear every week.
Why is there no price list?
Because the honest number depends on where you are. Phone taxes and 911 fees change by state, county and city, so a headline price is only true before tax. We send a written quote for your address instead, priced per seat, with every tax and fee on its own line, and your bill matches it. Each seat comes with pooled calling minutes and texts, the shared inbox, contacts and call recording; the AI receptionist is its own line with its own pool of minutes. There is no setup fee.
How fast is the quote?
Within one business day, Monday to Friday, Eastern time, and often the same day. Send your current phone bill with the request and we will quote it line for line. The quote is good for 30 days, and you can accept it online.
Which states do you serve?
We quote any business in the United States. The quote itemizes the taxes and fees for your address, because they differ from state to state and city to city.
How long is the agreement?
12 or 24 months, at the same price on either, with no setup fee. It renews for the same length unless you tell us otherwise, and we remind you 30 days before. If you ever leave, your number goes with you.
Can we keep our phone number?
Yes. We handle the port from your current carrier end to end: the paperwork, the timing and the cutover. Simple ports typically take 3 to 7 business days and larger ones 1 to 3 weeks. Your customers dial the same number they always have.
What about 911?
Every number is registered with a 911 address, which you keep current in your account. Internet calling has limits a landline does not, such as a power or internet outage; the 911 disclosure on our site explains them, and we ask every customer to read it.
What happens when the AI can’t help?
It doesn’t guess and it doesn’t dead-end. Based on rules you set, the receptionist either transfers the caller to the right person live, or takes a detailed message and delivers it to your team straight away. Urgent callers always have a path to a human.
Will callers know they’re talking to an AI?
Every AI-answered call opens by naming your business and saying the caller is speaking with its automated AI assistant, and that the call is recorded and transcribed. You choose the name and the voice; the disclosure itself is not optional, and anyone who asks for a person gets one.
